#=====================================================# # Requests and information for module Post Processing # #=====================================================# %BEGIN MAIN_POSTPROC/REQJOBRES HTML "Reschedule Background Jobs"
INFO: The Software Update Manager has automatically descheduled all background jobs at the beginning of the downtime. However, it does not automatically reschedule the jobs.
Revise first all background jobs and make sure that they are still applicable for the new release. Then execute the report
BTCTRNS2as user "DDIC" to reschedule the background jobs. %END MAIN_POSTPROC/REQJOBRES INFO %BEGIN MAIN_POSTPROC/REQ_SACF_COMPARE HTML "Maintain Switchable Authorization Checks"
Maintaining switchable authorization checks is important for the security of your system landscape. Run transaction SACF_COMPARE to take over authorization scenarios that are relevant for your business processes.
See SAP Note 1922808 for more information.
%END MAIN_POSTPROC/REQ_SACF_COMPARE INFO %BEGIN MAIN_POSTPROC/REQGENLD HTML "Generate ABAP Loads"
Your SAP system contains currently only a few ABAP loads.
We recommend that you generate the most relevant ABAP loads now.
Call transaction SGEN and choose the option 'load generation after an upgrade'.
The ABAP loads will be generated in a background job.
For more information, use the INFO button in transaction SGEN.
Depending on the number of objects to be generated,
the background job might run for several hours.
If you plan to generate the ABAP loads of all components, consider the additional free space in the database that is required to store the loads. Typical dimensions for the required space are values of several 100 MB. The generated load of an entire system needs approximately 2 GB free space.
%END MAIN_POSTPROC/REQGENLD INFO %BEGIN MAIN_POSTPROC/SECSTOREDB_CHK HTML "Secure Storage Individual Key Information"
The secure storage in the database currently uses a default key for encryption.
We recommend that you change the encryption key for productive systems. To do so, start transaction SECSTORE and go to the Key Management tab.
